The First Step Is The Hardest To Change Your Life

Right now, many people are feeling pressure that something MUST change. It is likely accompanied by melancholy, restlessness, and uncomfortable emotions. It might be an unfulfilling career, not enjoying life, or wearing a mask in your relationships.

Often, we fear rejection, negative reactions, or losing people if we were to be exactly who we are and choose what we want. So we play roles that don’t really fit us (and wonder why we’re unhappy).

Usually, the clue to unravel this behavior is: Which areas are you people-pleasing or trying to meet others’ expectations?

When you understand what blocks you, you can start focusing on the next step: creating a life that reflects your true character and passions.

But it is impossible to define your next step until you understand who you are and what you truly want.

Instead of moving forward, many people just get stuck and feel lost. The pressure still gets stronger but they don’t know where to begin.

So, this week, we want to bring our focus to consider:

  • What is one thing in your life that you cannot handle anymore?
  • How can you release or change it?
  • In which relationships or situations are you hiding your quirkiest traits?
  • How many times did you say yes when you meant no?

Just one small change this week will go a long way in releasing that pressure you are feeling right now.

In the long run, this is the start of a very exciting journey to finally feeling free to be your authentic self.
