Identifying Your Toxic Patterns & Blindspots

One of the biggest problems I see in my sessions is that people get stuck in subconscious toxic patterns. They know something is wrong but can’t see what’s stopping them from moving forward.

When subconscious patterns become long-term, we mistake them as our identity or personality, such as:

  • Overthinking about details that don’t matter
  • Getting lost in multiple scenarios and possibilities
  • Self-sabotaging thoughts right at the point of breaking through
  • Self-doubt, low self-esteem, or fear that you will never make it
  • Easily overwhelmed by stress and pressure from other people’s timelines or expectations
  • You constantly criticize your body, your diet, and your personality
  • Negative self-talk and beating yourself up over small mistakes
  • Not letting go of past emotions or moving past situations that hurt you

This is because the final step of healing requires behavioral changes of patterns you may have been holding onto for decades. Yes, DECADES. We’re doing the deep work now.

To start rewiring these behaviors, it’s important to label and bring these behaviors into focus every time you do them. It is not mystical or spiritual but rather a cognitive behavior change.

Does this sound like you?

  • You’ve been to therapy but still have symptoms (low self-esteem, fear of failure, overthinking, lack of confidence etc.)
  • You’ve done deep work and healing but keep going around in the same circles
  • You keep entering relationships that end up the same as before
  • You know you should feel happy but still feel like something is missing

If yes, then it may be a sign that you need to find your blindspots and help you take control back of your life.
